TAX CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION!

(Click on images to the right for information.)

Dear IJP families,

We, in Illinois, have an awesome opportunity to help families afford the Catholic education we provide here at IJP through the Illinois Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program.  The Tax Credit Scholarship Program offers a 75 percent income tax credit.  Empower Illinois, a scholarship granting organization, grants scholarships to families who meet income requirements to help them choose our excellent school for educating their child(ren).  The Archdiocese of Chicago is launching a 2:1 matching gift program from December 1, 2020, through February 28, 2021.  Donations up to the first $50,000 at each school will be matched 2:1 OR until matching funds are depleted, whichever occurs first. Donors to the program need to select SGO, Scholarship Granting Organization, Empower Illinois and then specify Infant Jesus of Prague School.

As an incentive for your participation, we will waive our registration fee for anyone who makes a donation of $1000 or more during the match period. The net cost to the donor is $125 ($1000 donation – $750 tax credit – $125 registration fee). The net benefit to IJP School (with the match) is $2875 ($3000 – $125 registration fee).  We could potentially have $150,000 in scholarships to help the families of our school!

Please utilize the links listed below to help you help our families now!  Please pass this information on to any Illinois family and ask them to specify Infant Jesus of Prague School!
