Mike Lamb

Thank you for the opportunity to serve our parish community by serving on the IJP School Board.  Our parish and school community succeeds best where we bring to the crucial ministry of Catholic education a prayerful, inclusive, respectful and open-minded approach.  My own Catholic education extended from grammar school and high school to Marquette University and St. John’s University Law School.  I am the son of a teacher and grew up with my eight siblings in Taunton, Massachusetts.  My 3 sons attended IJP School and I follow humbly in the footsteps of my wife Natalie and son Matt, both of whom previously served on the IJP School Board.  I am a past member of the IJP Parish Council and am currently active in the Saint Vincent DePaul Society – here at IJP, in the Society’s District covering the South Suburbs, and on the Chicago Archdiocesan Council, which serves Cook and Lake Counties.  I have worked as an attorney and manager with the Illinois Education Association for the past 26 years working with public school employees throughout the State of Illinois.
