Support Our Air Conditioning Installation!
IJP Families, Friends, and Stakeholders! We have an unbelievable opportunity to improve our educational environment for our students and staff! WE ARE INSTALLING AIR CONDITIONING THROUGHOUT OUR SCHOOL BUILDING! Generous donors have seeded a leadership donation of $145,000 and have inspired a 1:1 challenge grant to meet our goal of $350,000 for the entire project.
ways to donate:
Cash / Check:
Writing a check to Infant Jesus of Prague School is the simplest way to make a charitable contribution to this project. You can drop it off in the mailslot at door A at school or mail it to Infant Jesus of Prague School, 1101 Douglas Avenue, Flossmoor, IL 60422.
We can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover by calling our school office at 708-799-5200.
Appreciated Assets e.g. Stock:
If you own assets that have appreciated significantly since you acquired them and you have owned them for more than one year, donating these assets, rather than cash, may help you maximize the tax benefits of your gift.
If you are age 70 ½ or older, you can contribute up to $100,000 a year from your IRAs directly to a charity. This strategy, known as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), has several potential benefits. Making the contribution directly from your IRA to the charity, as opposed to having the distribution go to you and then making a gift to a charity, means that the money won’t be included in your taxable AGI. In addition, the QCD can count toward your required minimum distributions (RMDs), which start at age 72.
Donations from a foundation, donor-advised fund, or company:
If you are involved with a foundation or know of one who will support our efforts, charitable grants would be wonderful, as well. We accept grants from foundations and donor-advised funds, too. Perhaps your company has a matching gifts program from which you could request a grant from and triple your impact.
Thank you for your donation!!
Know that no donation is too small and is greatly appreciated. We aim to raise all of the funds for the project by February 2022. Thank you for your consideration! Let us know if you have any questions!
