Dear IJP Families,
Fall Trivia Night was a great success! Thank you to the 90+ participants, the teachers who donated their time and basket making skills, and to the vendors and the community who donated items so generously to IJP School. Congrats to the winning team! A fun time was had by all.
Join us on Thursday, November 1st for All Saints Day Mass at 10 am. There is no All-School Mass on Wednesday, October 31st due to the Holy Day on Thursday.
God of all seasons, we thank you for Autumn.
We thank you
for the touch of coolness in the air that gives us a new burst of energy,
for the coloring of trees that shows the creativity of the Divine Artist,
for the falling leaves that reveal the strength of the branches,
for the hues of fields that bring peace to our souls,
for the smiles on pumpkins that bring joy to children,
for the fall harvest which that brings us gratitude for the bounty of our land,
for this change of seasons that reveals the circle of life.
God of all seasons, as you transform the earth, transform us by your Spirit.
– Doug Leonhardt, S.J.

On Wednesday afternoon-Halloween, please remind your child about candy safety and not to eat any treat until you have a chance to look over their loot! Be Safe!
From Nurse Crocilla: As the weather changes and we get deeper into the fall, it is also the beginning of cold and flu season. The teachers wipe down and disinfect the student desks and common areas in their room on a regular basis. Our cleaning crew disinfects the door handles, light switches, washrooms, and school-wide common areas on a daily and weekly basis as well. Please help us in reminding your child to cover their mouth or nose when coughing or sneezing and reiterate the importance of washing their hands often to prevent sickness.
